Timing the Ads is very important because the volume of social media peeks at certain times through out the day, knowing when to post and create content for your brand is important. Each time you run an Ad on your social media handle, be sure to follow up to the traffic that comes, it will be easier to convert them into clients, when you follow up and solve their problem.

RECRUITING HACKS

WHERE TO START: You want to start recruiting with people you may know first its easier to practice your craft with a little thought of knowing they may give you a chance, almost immediately after you have built the foundation of your freight dispatching business. Rome was not built in a day, have patience with this process. Look around your city or town to find the most industrial areas, where the traffic is mostly trucks all day. Mark those areas for marketing and recruiting your yard signs and grass roots marketing (face to face, hand to hand). GOOD LUCK

WHO TO RECRUIT: If you know someone that owns their truck and have their own authority that's who you recruit first. Veteran carriers and fleet owners (longevity) New MC & DOT authority members ( You can help them grow). Trailer owners (Van, Reefers, Flatbed) etc. Carriers who want to make money and run their truck the right way.

WHEN TO RECRUIT: You want to always be in recruiting mode. Carriers may leave carriers may not, either way the goal is to scale your business up. The only way to do that as a freight dispatcher, will be to have a lot of trucks on the road. Major events (trucking expos, big city events, look for vending opportunities in the industry)

WHAT EQUIPMENT TO RECRUIT: Once you have found your lane in freight dispatching, you want to make sure you are recruiting the right equipment. Most freight dispatchers look for the equipment that is mostly dispatched, while some find what best fits their business. There is no wrong equipment to dispatch, but you want to make sure you turn a good profit. When first start your business it is smart to test out most dispatchable equipment to find your lane.
